Happy New Year!

It's time to start anew! Time to start saving up again and I did. As of yesterday, I was able to save up Php 1800.00. Not that much but a good start nevertheless. I feel that this is going to be a good year.

December 2008

Merry Christmas!

This was another lost month in terms of my "saving up" goal. What the heck! It's Christmas! No time to worry about things like this. I just wanted to enjoy the holidays.

November 2008

November was not a good month for me. I wasn't able to save up this month and I even had to use the money I saved up previously. Why? The coming month is already December which means Christmas. I already started buying some gifts especially for my godchildren. I don't want to be stuck with the Christmas rush. Well, I guess it's all worth it.

October 2008

The month of October was slightly better than the previous month. This month, I was able to save up Php 2300.00. I think I'm starting to get better at this.

If I am able to save up another Php 2000.00 next month, I'll subscribe for an Internet connection at home so I will be able to update this blog daily.

September 2008

I was able to save up Php 2000.00 for the whole month of September. I know, I know this is a very small amount of money but it's better than having not been able to save up something.

Welcome to a bang for my buck

A bang for my buck is a blog I decided to create to somehow record my daily expenses. This will be like my financial diary. Why create one? I want to start spending wisely as well as save up some money. As we all know, money is hard to come by these days with the global economic crisis and all.

Anyway, hope this becomes an effective way to achieve my goals.
